Had a great time out at the 20th Anniversary LSLC Roundup, did have a slight issue on Friday My passenger side birf exploded so I got to spend 6 hours getting greasy in the dirt. Whats the consensus on upgraded birfs now days, I hear the TG Longfields are junk. If I go to 30 splines I've gotta loose my pretty ASCOs I just refurbed

I still claim there is no reason that birf should've grenaded(not broken) like that. There must have been a hair line crack in it or some sort of fatigue already. Definitely not driver or spotter error! Oh well, time to beef it up

Just enjoying, installed Nitro Chromo axles and birfields with Longfield hardened hub gears to fix my wheeling breakage.

Did some tinkering with a set of the OEM lights I had bought a while back and never got around to installing. Took longer to run harness than install

Seemed top notch fit & finish wise, were almost too pretty to bury in grease. I went to 30-spline so had to clearance the bells a bit, but no issues with install. Time will tell how they hold up
