Sorry, I've been a bit tied up. Here is some info on the painting.

The sliders had lots of primer and were painted black (see Tall Corn thread). I wanted to try yellow and liked the look. I don't believe the front Dakar bar would look as good as it is kind of a funny shape, like an upside down grin. The color is Old Caterpillar Yellow. Pretty close match.

For all ot the tupperware and the skid plate, I masked the snot out of the mirrors and the handles and the bumper wings. The front grill I removed to paint.

First I used an aerosol adhesion promoter which can be found at any auto parts store. Let it set up for two minutes but less than 10 before the first coat of flat black Rustoleum. I was surprised how well it matched.

Ah, the wheels were different. I did not wish to spray anything at all around the calipers.

I brushed on an aluminum primer made by Rustoleum. It preps aluminum to be painted so that the paint will not come off or peel like it normally would. After that I again brushed on a flat black Rustoleum paint. I think I ended up putting on 3 coats. I rattle canned the plastic hubs in the middle. The wheels took a long time due to the hand painting, but I like the look.

I will be buying Mojave Teflon wheels within a couple of months, so this is not forever.

Badass mofo is what it is, I like. I would like to see some MT tires on there, that is all. I hate ATs. Frickin vagina tires. No offense Dragon, I'm drunk right now LOL and need sleep .....
