I have seen them in a couple of different websites, but cannot remember the places that I had visited. I used a Google search with "FJ billet shift knobs" and had several hits.

Hi Toledo FJ,

I was wondering, do the headers do much for you? Fuel mileage inprovement, power, etc?
Ant help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Dick

Hey Woodeye,
Yes the headers make a nice improvement in performance. I have mine mated to the JBA exhaust which is supposedly tuned to maximize power gains from the headers. I have a manual and the guys at URD said the performance gains are more noticeable in a manual throughout the entire range whereas they are only apparent at higher speeds in the automatic. I don't know why this is so or if it is even true but the guys at Underdog Racing Development will be happy to explain everything to you. Throttle response is greatly improved and the sound is pretty awesome. Fuel economy is slightly better if you drive conservatively, but I have a heavy foot and it is so damn fun that I burn the s*** out of Sunoco 94. Oh well. I do think that the addition of the unichip performance module will really maximize the gains from any aftermarket product. If the engine is being told to perform as if it is in stock configuration by the computer, it is not going to make efficient use of the aftermarket add ons like headers, intakes, forced intakes, etc... The Unichip modifies the computer control unit signal which will really help your engine get everything it can out of the modifications.
