To all you wrenchers at the tech day this last Saturday, I just wanted to thank you all again for the help with rebuilding the front axle on my 62. As you could tell from the goop draining from the diff at the end of the day, it needed it bad. So a big thanks to Sebastian, Sam, Jon, Ed, John, my father Jack, and of course Ron and Matt from Convenience Car Care. This would have been an absolute monstrosity to deal with in the home garage, which was the original plan.
And as an aside, I would like to say that Convenience Car Care is a really cool garage and a good place to do a tech day. The garage itself is brilliantly designed, you have an owner who is into cars (as can be noted by the racing 911s and Miatas), and the staff is absolutely outstanding.
Had a great time, and I hope to run into you all again at a future club event.
