i have a 2011 big tex 35sa bought this june, after two months noticed very unusual tire wear on the insides of both tires. also both wheels were tilted inward. after a month or so of dealing with the dealer they have still not agreed to fix or replace anything. if anyone has run into a similar problem and figured out the cause id greatly appreciate some advice. i figure if i can at least know what needs to be done i can get these guys to fix it. ive heard it may be improper assembly, possibly using the wrong part because some trailers have the axle sleeve over the leaf springs and some are under.

It is my understanding some trailers have axles with "bows" in them....and the axle should be installed with the bow "up". I guess that's so when the weight is added, the axle actually straightens out. If your axle has the bow, and is installed in the wong position, it souunds like it may cause the described condition....but that's just a poke in the dark...

Agreed.

That depends on the builder. Many trailers come with cambered axles. If you look at the axles, you'll see an arch in the middle. Unloaded, it will cause tire wear on the outside of the tires. When fully loaded, it will flatten out.

I chose to go with a non-cambered axles since I was never going to be near the weight capacity of the trailer.

Any chance you have overloaded the trailer causing your axles to bend?
