Big End Bearings (BEB's)

Hello all.
My name is Spenny and I live in Sidney. I have just purchased a 1991 HDJ81 VX ltd straight from Japan. SO far so good..Not quite like the picture portrayed but good enough. I have been reading a bit regarding the BEB's and the concensus points towards changing them. My question is: Where can I buy them? What is the cost?

I bought them from G&S Cruiser Parts - http://gscruiserparts.com/ I think that they were around a $100 shipped. 4 Wheel Auto - http://4wheelauto.ca/ should also be able to supply them. EBI - http://www.tlca.org/tlca/businesses.shtml#Extreme_Bends may also have them.

This is one case where you do NOT want to replace with OE Toyota parts.

You will want a factory service manual for the 1HD-T; I got mine from ENS Industrial - http://www.ensindustrial.ca/ but have seen them on http://www.ebay.com.au/ if you want more "entertainment" for your $.

I thought yours were already done.

Do you have your parts yet? Greg brought a set of bearing, con-rod bolts, and a FSM with him last weekend for Spencer.

I'm certainly up for and taking pics while you guys do yours.

I'll help as I can, but you know I'm just a newbie at this.
