Oliver (jiggawu), myself and our
all headed up to Big Bear on Saturday to see if we could get a bit of snow wheeling in along with sledding. Our goal was to get to a long , clean (read tree free) hillside just past the turn off for Holcomb Creek. We quickly realized, like Brayden mentioned in his post, that we were not going to getting anywhere near our desired destination. The snow was just too deep.
We quickly came across a stuck Dodge that did not want assistance in freeing himself. We waited for a while and then decided to turn around and just head back to Fawnskin to find a different hillside. Then Wu got stuck trying to turn around. After some digging and rocking back and forth we freed him. The snow was nothing to mess with this weekend.
