A group from ROF (Rubicon Owners Forum) and I are going to be running somewhere in BB that Saturday. Probably Holcomb, starting from the GVL end, so we can run another trail after if there is time. Maybe Gold Mountain. There will be some stock rigs, so the going may be slow. Anyone from here who wants to tag along is more than welcome. I will post details as they become available.

That sounds like a good idea. There is a good chance I will attend. I was thinking of wheeling that weekend. I thought I would do John Bull next after Lower Holcomb, but going with a group is much more fun.

When we get closer to the date I will know for sure if I can go.

Hi,

A group of us from So Cal Landcruisers are planning to be in Big Bear the 25th. How about if we hook up and wheel together? As of now we have a couple 60's a 40 and at least one 80.

Paul:bounce::cheers:

I will most likely go - wu and I were going to try to wheel that weekend anyway.

The more the merrier. So far I've got one other guy w/stock Rubicon on 31's from ROF that wants to go, and he's bringing another guy in a Tacoma w/2" lift and 31's. So by my count that's 9 rigs. Should be fun.

This is what I posted for the other two guys on ROF...

I say we run it from the GVL side. Directions and meeting times are as follows...

Meeting place: Trailhead, 3N16 x Green Valley Lake Rd
Directions: from San Bernardino take the 30 to the 330N (Mountain Resorts).
The 330N becomes the 18E at the city of Running Springs.
After the city of Arrowbear (2.6 miles from RS), turn left onto Green Valley Lake Road.
After approx 3 miles, trailhead will be dirt road on left (you will see us from GVL road) also called Crab Flats Rd.
Estimated time (with no traffic) from San Bernardino: 45 minutes

Meeting time 8:30, air down, disconnect, and hit the trail at 9:00 sharp.

After running Holcomb we could head over to Gold Mountain. That's another trail that's OK for stock rigs to run, I did it in mine.

Post up if the meeting place and times are agreeable to everyone.

I know I started this thread, but I'm gonna have to bail on this run. Just had a lot happen over the weekend that's gonna make it impossible for me to make it. Sorry.

anybody interested in camping and staying more than 1 day?

I may just be. I am dying to get out and wheel the 80.
