Bickel Camp
On JAN 3rd and 4th there will be a work party to repair the roof of Walt's
cabin at Bickel camp in Last Chance canyon CA. This is an historic depression era mining camp one of the last of it's kind. The roof was damaged in a storm and new roofing has been donated by the BLM. The old roofing needs to be stripped off and replaced. It's not a big place so I don't see it taking too long.
We have roofing and lap cement, nails and a couple of larders.
afterwords there will be a pot lock dinner.
