Hs anybody used BG 44K? Or heard anything about it?
Just want to get some thoughts. I have a little Dieseling when I shut down and I want to clean my fuel system.
Just looking for input.

I have heard good things about it. I would try seafoam first on a 60 since it is not fuel injected. A couple of shot in the PCV valve vacuum hose supply line is good.

i sold it for over 20 years in the auto biz.
best stuff on the market. there is no better fuel system cleaner. it will also decarbon your valves.

pricey, yes.
but you only need to use it a couple times a year.
well worth it!

i really liked it in my 62, great stuff!!!

So can it be used in a carbed 2F?

Real World Testing.

Well folks let me say WOW!
I chnaged my fuel filter and topped off my tank and ran about 10 miles before I added the BG44K. The can says it treats 20 gallons. I know the cruiser holds almost 24 and I am impatient so I added the can of magic.
I ran it while Xmas shopping for about 20 miles and there is a noticeable difference. Even dilutted a little exrtra it is working.
No hessitation, and no dieseling when shutting off.
Smooth as silk.
I say if you are having any fuel related problems I say run a can of this stuff before performing any major maintenance.
Just a little personal expericene too help fellow cruiser lovers.

By the way the treatment is said to be used for F/I but my cruiser is Carbed and it worked like a charm.

I used it and was pleased with the results. However, I opted not to change the fuel filter prior to using it because fuel tank and fuel line sediment was likely to clog up the new filter. I can definitely tell a difference and I am hoping that when I change the filter in the next day or so that the difference will be even more significant.

Have you heard of an Italian tune up? My theory with engines is they need to be bagged hard once and awhile. If there is carbon build up on your valves a good full throttle run might take care of it.

Seafoam and other products might clean injectors, but solid run on the highway with a gear dropped down and full throttle for a bit sure makes it run better.

x2 on the Italian tune up. Especially effective in a diesel.

Any dangers in using this on a high mileage 2F? Mine has 253,000 on the clock.

I don't see any dangers when adding it to your fuel. When you start putting stuff in the crankcase then I would be more careful.

I haven't had any problems this far. 195,XXX miles.
I am going to take a trip to Boulder this weekend to blow out the engine. When I get back I will report gas mileage.
