underneath is the problem but overall I think it is in OK shape, has some good size dents. Probably needs about $10K or more worth of body work to make it cherry.

Its easy to sink that much in too.....- The PO of my 40 spent 6K on bodywork/paint...... And it had already been media blasted.......

I think he should take that crappy rack off and give it to me though.....thing sucks.....he's got no use for it......I'd be doing him a favor.....blah blah blah......LOL

The piggy arrived today, i had to drag it off of the trailer and into the shop with my 40, as the rear wheels were lockd up tight.
I've got the rear wheels turning, removed the plugs and filled cylinders with penetrating oil, cleaned the plugs, turned engine over by hand, then turned engine over with it's own power, Bdenke stopped by and lent a hand, removed points, cleaned and adjusted by sight for now, disconected electric fule pump from tank and pinched off the line, sprayed a little carb clean and she fired right up, engine is quiet and idles perfectly, not bad for sitting 8 plus years.

I was hoping it would fire up. Wanted to stay, but I got things to get ready for scouts tonight plus I'm leaving for GSMTR on Thurs.

The sticker on the glove box indicates a very discriminating PO.

All I see is surface rust, you guys must see more in person than I a can see in the pics. That pig is sweet and he got a great deal. It is very rare to find a deal like that is not already torn apart and missing parts. He will appreciate it being all together from the start. Ask me how I know.

I am actually envious. The seats weren't even torn. Very comfortable to sit in. I wish I would have bought it

If you can't tell, I am too. Unless had plenty of cash set aside for a coplete overhaul I would: pressure wash it, wax it, get her safe, replace to front hangers and run it. Those things are a thing of beauty, restored, beat up, or rusted they look great to me. Just like the 40 series rigs. Maybe one day the 60's and 80's will grow on me but I can't see past the 40's/45's and 55's.

 the another Pig in the LCLC. He is a member right? What happened to that guy in Summerville with a Pig?

Jeremy

For a unrestored pig it is in pretty good shape. A steal of a deal. Especially now you have the engine turning.
