I’m back again with another 2L1 question. I’ve mounted my aftermarket temperature gauge where the stock probe went, which is right under the thermostat. It’s alright, but I see exactly when the thermostat opens and shuts, the gauge keeps fluctuating between 180 and 200, annoying as keep scaring myself thinking it’s overheating, only for it to creep back down after 10 seconds.
Is there another place I can mount the probe right on the head? I remember on my 22r I had it right in the middle of the head, and the needle stayed dead on 180. I’m not seeing many holes, and id have to drill and tap one anyways for my standard threaded america#1 probe.
