I have A 2000 LAND CRUISER, WILL BE ATTACHING THE SMOOTH BLACK SLIDERS FROM WHITE KNUCKLES THIS WEEK. WHAT PRODUCT(S) DO YOU RECOMMEND I USE TO GIVE THE SILDER A LITTLE GRIP SO WHEN SOMEONE STEPS UP THEY DONT SLIP OFF? TAPE OR SPRAY ON ADHESIVE LIKE THEY USE ON THE BED OF PICK UO TRUCKS?? just two ideas
BUT AT THE SAME TIME I DONT WANT THE MATERIAL TO CATCH ANd KEEP ALL THE MUD AND GRIM WHICH WILL MAKE THE TRUCK EITHER ALWAYS LOOK DIRTY AND/OR IT WILL BE A MAJOR PITA TO CLEAN. THANK YOU. ANY RECOMMENDATIONS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!

You can use the GOOP Anti-Skid Epoxy with Grit. My buddy used this product on his custom made steel nerf bar.

I used skateboard grip tape first, and then switched to herculiner
