I wasn't sure where to post...

Anyone using Bend-Tech 3D who knows how / if it's possible to mirror a part?

I made a custom part for the right side and I was wondering if there is an ez-button for a mirror part on the left.

Thanks

Andy

A little off the topic. How do you like Bend-Tech 3D. Which version do you have?

Yes, Create an Assembly, then add your part, then Mirror it in within the assembly.

Its not a very user friendly program, We are still working bugs out of it.. Cool software for the price and features, but if you are used to working with Cad you may be frustrated with the simplicity and quirks..

Thanks for the replies.

Bull - I think you are right. I don't think 3DEZ has that fuction. I was just looking around for that mirror button - i couldn't find it.

We will have to try the file sharing when you get back.

Isotel - EZ doesn't have the "assembly" function. No luck there.

I suppose it isn't a big deal to just make a new part with the mirrored input. Just trying to figure out the program. I agree Isotel. I bought the EZ to save some cash - the assembly feature of SE seems pretty nice but costs more than I can justify as a hobbist. My impression so far is that it is a blunt instrument CAD software package. But it seems to work.
