Its been alittle quiet around here so I'll just chime in with a few topics. I just got back from Flatnasty from Jan 1-4. Saturday was mobbed with people. 150 plus rigs and Peterson's was there taking pics for a future article. Sorry no pics. There are a few new trails open there but they are all black rated.

Also, I was reading a bit on TTORA and they are looking at possibly having the anual national TTORA takover in the midwest and Missouri is the probable state. They're not sure who is gonna host it yet because there isn't a Missouri TTORA chapter but Texas and Arkansas are two likely chapters. They are not sure on a date because the TLCA event is in September and they don't want to make it too close to that event and cause attendance issues. Its just nice to see all of the attention givent to the Midwest and the wheeling it has to offer.

Happy New Year to all. I just returned yesterday from a week in Jamaica and had a great time. It is definately the land of Toyota down there. I saw Prado's, Hilux, LC's, and some other Toystuff I had no idead what to call it.

Now that Mia is a little older, the whole family will be able to make some trips. It's been thrown around to head to Texas in March. I'd imagine MoJ is going to be a little busy this summer and fall. So I'm using that as an excuse to do some extra spring wheeling.

I'm still looking for some tires for the 40. (33x10.5 r15's) if anyone has some. KM2's are coming in at 195 ea, and Toyo's are 225 ea.

I'm also contemplating purchasing a pop up or small camper w/ a/c, potty and shower to provide some comforts of home for the little one's on weekend wheeling trips. They're not ready for full blown camping yet. I'd like to split the cost with a few folks because I don't like stuff like that just sitting around. Rental is another option.

*Update* There's a guy in Columbia, MO that has submitted the paperwork to start a Missouri TTORA chapter.

Hey Toyminator adn all,
Yes it has been quite there. Sorry took so long ot get back on this but been doing some other stuff.
I'm out here "playing in the sand" about 9 time zones east of you and have already registered for this:
Great American Toyota Offroad Rally
In Springfield in SEP 09 - my brother's group in ARK (Green Mountain) is one of the sponsors and if you look you'll also see that GATEWAY CRUISERS are also listed as a sponsor. That be us!
I'm hoping to be home end of FEB so maybe we can have a meeting at Siebergs on the first Thurs of MAR and talk about what we want to do. It looks to be a great event - and lots of fun getting ready

I don't attend those meetings anymore. Nobody that was going to those things was wheeling so I stopped. Not sure about anyone else but most of the active folks on this forum don't either. I'm not trying to deter you from going but you may want to make sure they still have them.

Too Bad :frown: guess there was too much BS and not enough drivin'
Oh well, I've signed on to help @ GATOR so we'll what that brings. Are you going to the GATOR?

Yep. GATOR in September at SMORR and the TTORA national takover event in August at Superlift park in Arkansas.

Toy, are you planning on going to Katemcy (sp?)

Probably not. My truck won't be done by then. Besides, it's at least a full day drive both to and from there (over 600 miles each way) and Its hard for me to take that much time off work.

It is a long drive, but the wheeling is so different from anything around here that it is worth the trip. Last year we went part way wednesday and rolled in Thursday morning. Left camp Saturday evening and got home Sunday afternoon.
