My brother Tommy's daughter came home for Christmas from Australia. She didn't have any means of transportation so I lent her my Prius for 1.5 months. I figured the car was girly enough for her. Well my brother said thanks and take my truck because you need one. COOL!!!! I thought. Finally I get something that I can use. Well after driving it for a week i am ready to get my Prius back. I really think Toyota screwed up by making this truck. it feels sooooo cheap. It is the 4x4 Limited so it should set a standard. Pfftttt!!! the new F-150 smokes this truck by a galaxy. Don't get me wrong. it is a decent truck but it isn't Toyota quality.
Another reason I can't wait to get my car back is because yesterday @4 I went to Costco and filled up costing me $60. Today by 2 I had half a tank. WTF!!!!!!!! I haven't even driven to Holly Hill yet. If I di then I would probably have gone through the entire tank. That would be roughly $250-$350 a week in gas. I am not a believer in Global Warming but I am a believer that auto companies need to take the appropriate measures to make more fuel efficient vehicles

Welcome to my world....with 2 full size vans, the 62 and the jeep, none of them get over 16 mpg.
The only decent mileage one I have is my wife's caravan at 22 on the hwy.
Oh, yeah, the ride, I've had better

I am more a believer in the Govt letting us drill for oil at home instead of buying from overseas.....we got enough oil miles off our coasts to replace our foreign dependency easy.....plus the shale oil from Canada. Then fire up the clean coal and natural gas for our powerplants....add a couple nuclear reactors around the country and immediately we are self sufficient on energy in matter of 5 years.

The prior generation tundras are better. Any toyota built in the us is not as good as the one for japan. Don't get me started more refineriaries and nuclear plants are needed

My generation Camry was last great Camry from Toyota. When they bought part of Subaru and started building them in Lafayette it went down hill. I am all for USA jobs, but Toyota should stick to building them in Japan or lower the price to the domestic models.
