So, has anyone done any poking around at wreckers with a template to see if the bed floors out of any other trucks have corregations that match the 45?

be cool if one matched, then I could just replace the sections with drain holes:lol:

No but I thought about it.

looks pretty common. what about other Toyota's?

could be, that's the first one I'll check. I thought the corregations looked smaller tho on the one I last had a look at, but I didn't have anything with me to compare with.

I think the corrugations on the 40's and 55's are the same as the 45's. I have both of these and have not take exact measurements, but they look the same. Having said that, according to Matt, making basic corrugated panels in not to difficult if you have the proper metal brake. I have one, but have not gotten to that point yet. It is the curved ends that is the tricky part.

probably right about the 55's and 40's, but they're both pretty rare birds up here, I think it's been 3 or 4 years since I've even seen a 55...

I'll do some poking around in the new year once I'm ready to start messing with the box. lots of different truck boxes out there, hell even hacking the whole bed out of something would be fine.

course, I may end up with a piece of plywood laying in there covering the gaps for most of the winter.....

I picked up a bed floor out of a 1999 f250 SB for my 45swb it was close enough for me. it surprised me the diiferent spacing on the ribs on the same manifactured trucks as I looked around, first I found what I wanted on a truck that was still on the road, then went to wrecking yards to find that model and year. I figure that with that big of a sheet I can either make it one peice or 5 that was factory and if I choose.
