I have been in contact with Some guys from a BC club that want to come wheel down here. , they also are thinking more of Evans or Elbe because of caping spots i was thinking Evans elbe is way to major carnage for my old bones besides i cant afford to replace any more windshields give me some feeback tell what you think, this would be agreat oppurtunity if we ever want to head north to there place and wheel , ive wheeled up on the Island Vancouver that is and its awesome ,
Thanks
RL

Hi guys,

First I'd like to say thanks for considering to meet up with our group -
we've all got busy schedules and holidays during the summer so I think
keeping this informal is probably best. If life gets in the way and
you're not able to make I can certainly appreciate that.
Currently there are 3confirmed in heading down, and more trying to make
it. I would think that we're at least capable of moderate trails - the 3
trucks are running 35" tires and locked front and rear. I've had to
narrow the choice of weekends down to the following, but your choices
will be a primary consideration.

July 11-14
July 18-21

As for the trails, we were thinking about Walker Valley but are open to
suggestions.

I look forward to hearing from you.
Regards,
Trevor

Doesn't Evans have some moderate trails? Never been just seems like there are "less carnage" options there. Tahuya is a good low/no carnage (especially for SWB rigs). The Seattle Cruiser Heads did Walker Valley a few weeks ago. There are some good pictures on their website.

Why don't you take them over to Naches or Rimrock, Robb? They're gonna want more than Tahuya after all that driving to get here. The Rimrock area has some tough trails, but it sounds like their trucks are set up OK for them.

I'm game, and I'm sure the other 55's, maybe even some of our other Cruisers as well? If just to meet some of you

Give us a couple weeks heads up if you can

Aaron

The 19th & 20th just opened up for me, so I'm game for whatever that weekend. With the exception of Busy Wild or equivalent trail...
:D

there gonna be here July 11th thru 14th

Ok, so its firm now. We'll be making for Evans Creek on the 11th and
return the 14th, and with luck we'll get a spot at the Evans campground.
We'd really like to see you guys but like I said early, if you can't
make then thats no problem. If I can I'll post up the finalized plan on
ih8mud's forum soon.

Look forward to seeing ya on the trail.
Trevor
