So I'm looking for a lipo compatible battery charger. There is a huge disparity between the prices on the chargers at my local shop and ebay chargers. which would not bother me particularly, but there was a guy in the ship that strongly recommended a$20 charger from Ebay. Obviously China is the country if manu, but does three extra $100 really get me much? http://vi.ebaydesc.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItemDescV4&item=190745944232

Hitech chargers are great, but price wise is too much. I have a Thunder T6 that is relatively the same as Hitec.

It has been tested through rough times and served me well. I only paid $116 when it came out three years ago.

I've charged lipos using all four ports, having 2 6S 4500mAh, and 2 3S 3300 mAh and no issues at all. Not only that, i was using a separate car battery that I use on the field and all cells balanced well.

I think Hobbypartz.com and Hobbyking.com carries the product.

I think any charger would suffice. It just depends on your need. If you charge a lot, or not, it all depends on what you need, on the field or at home.

I have about 28pcs of lipo batteries, that is why i chose to have a quad charger to make charging half the time than using a single port. :D

I have the hyperion and it was a little pricey. Not sure it's worth the extra $$. I will try to find out which model he has, but my crawling buddy purchased one of the thunderpower one's that i "think" was around $45.

My opinion, and it's just that, my opinion, if you really use the lipos a lot, they are going to burn out no matter how expensive of a charger you have. If you don't use them that often then a good charger for storing them, maintaining them and charging them might be worth a few extra $$.
