Batteries and solar or generator?

I am setting up my trailer and I have a decision to make.

Buy 2 yellow top optimas with a solar pad and battery charger
or
buy a eu2000 honda generator?

what do you guys run?

A 1000 watt 2 stroke generator. Very small, light, and came with a 12v cord and clamps for charging....right around $250. Also I run an Interstate group 27 deep cycle battery...has never run out to date, although my power needs are limited. Basiclly all LED lights in the trailer and outside, cell phone charging, maybe some awning lights.

Solar is nice but not cheap, but a lot of guys have some great systems here.

My thought on the Honda...you'll never regret it, period Bar none the nicest generator available.
