Finally got around to doing the foglight modification using Baja Designs S2 Sport (PN#54-7813). Here is how I went about it. Original write up from Charles Bernstein on GXOR.

1-Bake for 20 minutes at 185 degrees.
2-Pull apart lens from housing, I used a panel tool & knife to help break the seal.
3-Reflectors pull out, 1 bolt on the back of the housing needs to be loosened to have it come out all the way.
4-I removed the 2x 10mm ball mounts holding the reflector in as well.
5-Marked where I wanted the light mounted, marked my hole. Marked by pressing from the inside of the housing downward to make an indentation to drill.
6-Mocked everything up, drilled the rear cap to run wiring through (would have ran through factory wiring but my harness side is modified already, you can make this plug and play with OEM connectors but I opted not to)
7-Final mounted everything using Permatex black RTV, let it sit overnight to cure.
8-Another 20 min at 185 to warm back up and install the lens to housing.
9-Will probably do edge seal of the black RTV around where the housing/lens meet for preventative measure.

Now all thats left is to mount, polish the outer lens, and wire.

Well done! I have been flirting with this idea but didnt know if there was a light pod that would fit in the housing. Hows the light output? The only thing I would have done different is I would have polished the inside and outside of the lens since they get cloudy over the years.

I haven’t installed or wired them in yet. I’ll post more photos later with light projection. The inside of the lenses are fine, once I get them on I’ll polish the outside.
