I didn't see this posted yet...

There's gonna be an FJ Cruiser team at Baja this year with a bunch of big name UROC drivers on the team.

Picture stolen from another site - rig was at SEMA...

There's another one that will be running, rod millen was on the names listed on the truck.

I am sure it will win it's class. The truck looks good, looks basically stock, which I like to see in races like that.

Hmmmm...doesn't look too stock to me. The front looks lifted a good 6", and you can see the rear lower control arms are close to double the stock length. I can only imagine what they did with the upper arms, and the rest of the front suspension. Still.....it should do well.:D

Looks bad-azz!

It's 4 wheel drive and IIRC stock drivetrain. Was hard to get close to it, but did manage to stick the camera under there, the front arms are Total Chaos.

Total Chaos Long Travel kit that has been tweeked a little and running a Donahoe designed coilover, maybe? Anybody know what class that one is running?

I can see from those pics that the front upper AND lower A-arms are aftermarket. So is the coilover (obviously). The front half shaft seems to be a different color, so I would assume that is also modified, most likely along with the CV's. The rear has longer lower control arms, as well as relocated upper control arms, also most likely longer. What looks to be a fuel cell behind the rear axle....NOT STOCK.:D
Even the body is modified. I kinda like the rear fender panel.:)

The front arms are longer, so the axle has to be longer. The rear axle is moved back increasing the wheelbase. The new fenders are needed for the new longer, wider stance. The cage and fuel cell are required by the rules.

It's still mostly stock, with a few minor modifications - no more modifications than a normal everyday owner would do themselves, is what I meant.

;p

Here's Donahoes site they have pics of of the build up and a write up of the fj. http://www.donahoeracing.com/ Is anyone going to the race ?

The game they are advertising on the side of that FJ, ATV Off-road Fury. Does anyone know if there are FJ's you can race with? If so i'm buying a PS2.

Anyone know how the Donahoe rig did ?
