Hi, I'm looking for an auto-locker (detroit locker a.k.a. lunchbox locker) for my front axle, 7.5 inch Toyota IFS.
I can find them for reasonable prices, but there are several vendors.

You have Powertrax, Lokka, Rockridge/Aussie locker, Spartan.

Does it matter? They are all pretty close to each other in terms of price, so I would like to choose the best.

Yes I read the main comparison test of JP magazin before, but it doesn't feature the Lokka, only the other brands. It will not say anything about amount of failures seen on the units.
I read something about the Lokka that wasn't so positive, about changing fabrication to China with lower grade steel, but that's just one quote on the internet.

Basically prices including shipping are:
270 euro for Lokka
300 euro for Spartan
340 euro for Aussie Locker
370 euro for lock right (powertrax)

The Lokka is the cheapest and will also give me the lowest import tax (article itself is 229 euro), but perhaps I should go for the Spartan if that is more safe.

The comparison test is pretty positive about the Spartan. And it may cut on costs of installation since it is easier.

I'd either buy a spartan or aussie as those are the most common. I've heard good things about both and almost bought a spartan my self.
