August Trail Run

Greetings all,

Couple of updates for August, first off Gerry has been working on getting the club logo done and we should be showing this to everyone soon. The second this is regarding the monthly meeting. Both John and I have prior commitments this week so we have elected to a "Trail Meeting" on our run this month. Speaking of the run this month it will be this coming weekend (14-15) and we will be meeting at 10 AM at the Starbucks in Clifton and will be on the road out of town at 10:30. This will have an optional overnight if your interested otherwise it will be a beautiful day in the Rockies on the trails.

Hi Bill, what are the trail plans for the weekend? We may be up for the overnighter, more details would be great. I've been out of the loop for awhile, it would be nice to get out with the club again.

We are waiting to see what the capabilities of the people and rigs that arrive on Saturday. We are talking about the Outstanding area. Hope you can make it!

Only my second run with BCC this year, first was Cruise Moab.

At 195 miles this probably is close to the longest day run I've ever done. Mileage was camp to camp on Grand Mesa. Esimated distance on dirt was 85 miles. it was a good day with fantastic weather, great trails and a solid collection of trail rigs. Hats off to everyones skilled driving in that we had no mishaps, well except for loosing me out of Collbran.
