I've got a 2007, with the stock cd player. Starting last saturday, when I plug in my Ipod to the AUX jack, the result is a garbled playback, like the sound old casette tapes mad when they were all worn out. At first i thought it was the Ipod, but it works all other places, the radio in the shop, the headphones, ect.
The radio/cd player works fine otherwise.
Any Ideas/

Bad plug from ipod to jack maybe?

I have a Sirius Stiletto that I plug into the AUX jack.
Every so often I have to tap the plug on either end to make it work properly.

Try getting some electrical contact cleaner and spray a SMALL amount into the jack and immediately "excercise" the jack by placing the plug in and out fast about 10 times. Clean the male connection on the wire first.

Otherwise the connection in the back of the head unit may be loose.

more than likely the wiring that you are using to connect your ipod to the aux port is bad, that cable is made from cheap wire and if you are constantly bending it you can ruin the integrity of the wire inside the insulator, the cables are cheap we fix them all the time, best bet would probably be to buy a new one.
