ATRAC ?

I have done some searching but could not find an answer so here goes:

We have been looking at both new and used LC and a used ('10) LX570.

The LX is very nice with all of the creature comforts but I still like the LC better overall...and it seems like the LC would be a better (easier?) platform to build once it has reached that time.

My question is: Do they all come standard with ATRAC? I test drove a new LC and saw al of the gee whiz buttons for descent contorl (or whatever it is called)...and of course the dealer has no idea about any of this stuff.

No sure about the lx but the lc from 08-13 does. The 13 has a few different options.

Also, I've used it a few times. The only time it helped me was going up a steep incline that was bumpy and covered in loose rock. I like it more than the auto radar.

I have a 2011 LX and it has CRAWL control. Basically like ATRAC. I think crawl isin the 2013 Land Cruisers

All Toyota's to my knowledge these days have some form of TRAC or ATRAC and VSC. It started to appear in most Toyota's around 2001-2003 It's a Traction system for the vehicle at all speeds. CRAWL is very different and is just for very low speeds.

The 11 had 3 levels in crawl I think. The 13 has 5 settings.

Each setting is for a different landscape but I've only used two

The dial is essentially just a way for you to choose how much wheelspin you want to allow before the system starts pulsing the brakes to simulate lockers. It works really well, and I used it quite a bit this weekend at Katemcy.
