I have a CB and my install was ineffective; The unit stayed in place, but the audio quality was terrible. I can wrench on engines..but this is not my cup of tea. Anyone familiar and willing to lend a hand? I would like to get it done priot to SMORR Fall Crawl. My only other timing issues are: traveling to KC for 3 days next week and having my Knee rebuilt (ACL & mensicus) 10 days before SMORR event.

Any takers? or recommendations of a shop to assist: shanran71@gmail.com

Thanks and I hope to see you at the Fall Crawl next month!

I am sure exactly what your needing help with. If its install I am sure we canget that finished around the camp fire at smorr. If you need help with the radio, we all use the cb shop out at hoods truck stop just east of town on i44. He can peak and tune you radio for you. You can drop it off and pick it up a few days later.

X2 with Jim at Hoods. Open W - SA like 1 to 7. On the radio on the LX we were not grounding well on the antenna mount. It has to have no metal off the antenna touching any metal on your mount.
