i dont, but i have been kicking around the idea of opening a toyota truck and land cruiser shop and hiring johnathan as my head mechanic.

I cant wait for a shop like that . I can do some things but things like a major rebuild or trans rebuild wouldkill me. I am looking for someone who knows painting and body work to mentor me on getting my fj40 back to og paint color. anyone know anyone like that.

I am fortunate there is very little body work to do. Mostly it will be stripping and then repainting. I have maybe like one big dent

I am the guy who posted the question. The landcruiser is up for emissions testing this month. I bought valve stem seals a few months back, but have been too afraid to tackle replacing them myself. I would gladly pay someone to help me replace them and adjust the valves. I am pretty sure that the valve stem seals are causing the smoke problem. I have really good compression on all cylinders. Jonathan (HJ) seems to have a good reputation. If you are interested in making a little money and help me out, I would really appreciate it. I live in Mesa, near McKellips and Center. IF not, that's cool. Thanks.
