Hello all, I finally was able to get me a locked 80. I was on the way back from getting it when I had an issue

Hopefully it'll be here today and I can get it on a lift and see if it's the flex plate bolts or something else. Cross your fingers for me!

Does anyone ever get together or anything? Wasn't sure if this is a formal group of just a bunch from the area.

We haven't been gettin' together much lately, but it's getting to be patio-weather again, so maybe we'll start back up. Most of us live over in E.Memphis, so we usually meet up there.

Sounds like you might have figured out what's wrong with your truck? Will you have it ready in time for the Mardi Krawl thing coming up in a few weeks? I think a few of us have mentioned going, but I don't think anyone's committed to it yet.

Read through your thread a few minutes ago. Welcome, I guess (your luck ain't so good so far!). I just drove over to just South of Ft. Benning GA to pick up my 80, and would've been crying if that had happened to me!

Great crew in Memphis, not really officially organized and what few meets they've done always end up on nights I can't go. But, several have taken care of me in the past and they'll do the same for you, I'm sure. I've already got a growing list-o-maintenance myself to jump into.

Hope yours gets straightened out soon!

Thanks for the welcome. Fixing to try and get it to the house from the shop I've got it at but havent gone into it yet.
