Hey team
Trying for a camp/overland cheap spring break for me and the boys next Saturday through Tuesday. We are taking the 80 which is mostly built (lift, tires locked, breathers etc) but no snorkel and my winch didn’t fit my bumper and I’m not buying one unless someone trades my warn 9500i for a new Runva that fits this week and install.
Anyway. I’m concerned about the water. This is a solo deal. Can anyone give me some pointers? Appreciate assistance in advance.

Water is extra high this year. Plenty of "dirt roads/ trails" available but you need maps, gps and ideas on alternate routes to get places. Water depth is usually not as big an issue as speed. Most places the snorkel is not gong to make a difference. I had to back track over an hour couple weeks ago cause of low water bridges. This is in the Upper arkansas area but i assume all of that area is wet this year

Yeah we live in Jackson and the rain has been insane. I’m even a bit concerned about just getting stuck in a mud hole solo. Maybe I should head to the smokies or something. I want a four day wilderness within not much more than 7 hour drive. All suggestions appreciated. Also back to the Arkansas plan any routes in Ouachita or Ozarks avoiding too much water appreciated. I have to downloads maps over the next couple days and make sure the trails are actually open.
Appreciate all input.

Anytime you wheel or run solo you have to give more thought to obstacle for sure. Even with a winch you still have stream crossing issues. Most of this would be based on your definition of trails. That are is crisscrossed with "roads" that many would call trails and offer great views and awesome camping but not what i would really call trails. Most of the "atv" style trails will require water crossing.
