The Coronado National Forest has developed a proposed land management plan and a programmatic Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS). A 90-day public comment period began with the publishing of the Notice of Availability of the DEIS in the Federal Register by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on November 22, 2013. The comment period ends February 20, 2014. The proposed plan, programmatic draft environmental impact statement and plan set of documents can be found online at
