Relatively new to land cruisers, I have owned an 80 and a 40 for the last 2 years and recently sold them both. I am being stationed in Argentina for a year and I am authorized free shipment of one vehicle. I will be sending my 4runner which will be my family's DD while i am there. I have a question on purchasing a older land cruiser there (older than 25 years). I was stationed in Germany in the past and know many people that shipped older german vehicles back with little issues. My plan is to attempt to bring one back using the same company I ship my 4runner with. I f I can possibly sale my 4runner in Argentina, I can bring back one vehicle no charge. I see many Land cruisers being imported from columbia and brazil but haven't seen much traffic on Argentina. Any information will be appreciated, or if I'm off in left field please let me know. Regardless I will be in a cruiser when I get back even if I have to shell out the crazy prices that I have been seeing lately.

Hi all,

Good luck finding a TLC in Argentina. When I visited there five years ago I saw two or three 80 Series, and one 45 Series pick-up.

I believe the Toyota dealers in in Argentina only arrived on the scene within the last ten years or so.

Regards,

Alan

Thanks for the info, I've kind've noticed that by searching them online. Im thinking I will have to make a trip to Brazil or Colombia during my stay
