Copied a mod someone did in the 80's section. I removed my PIAA fog lights from my ARB (they are in for sale section now) for two reasons: 1. They don't work in fog sitting that high and I can't mount them lower without destroying them. 2. I tend to everheat in the summer with the A/C on at cruising speeds, not at crawling and the blocked airflow might be a factor, I also removed my front plate.

So I removed the blinker lights in the ARB and got some cheap auto store "fog lights" and was able to put them in without any drilling or cutting so that I can put the ARB blinkers back in if I want. These sit lower than the PIAA's did but also sit at angles illuminating out to the left and right of the rig. I hooked them up to my Slee harness and OEM fog light switch and can run them while driving since they sit low and shouldn't bother oncoming traffic. I tried them tonight on a quick run in town and wasn't impressed to say the least, but in town everything is already somewhat illuminated that I can't say they suck until I try it offroad in complete darkness and see how well the sides are lit up from them. Anyway I had to remove the PIAA's and had the fog light circuit all hooked up so I decided to use it. I will follow this up when I get out of the city and see what they do.

Firt pic is before, second pic after (looks naked!) and third with the lights on...:meh:

Can't see the pictures but it sounds good!! Have to take a look next time we hang out.

Yeah, Woody was breaking the forums. Pics are up now.

Looks slick! Dunno about the DS one, I think that one might cause problems with oncoming traffic. OSP won't be happy if you're driving around with them on either.

I think they are too low to interfere with oncoming traffic but I wouldn't be running them anyway unless they actually help in the fog. I will have to have one of you drive towards me at night and let me know :p I'm hoping to see an improvement offroad at night with a wider field of vision, but again not holding my breath on these either.

What are you asking for the PIA's ?

$100 paid $165 has harness and relay which were never used and the PIAA light switch too.

Better yet here's a link for you all:
