April Death Valley Trip

There are two difficult spots on the trail, one near the top of the pass and one after on the way down. The first obstacle was the more challenging. The 80s walked right up with some spotting. Sorry, I didn't get many pics because I was doing the spotting. For my little 4Runner to make it I had to use some rocks to do some road building and was able to make it first try too with @landcrshr spotting.

I try and explore some of the various canyons and such while I’m there. So glad I got to see marble canyon this time. In Saline, I explored Clark Canyon. I had ventured a few miles up there a couple years ago. There’s a mine site you can explore too.

There’s a branch of this mine I haven’t been able to explore. The main branch goes in like 500 feet, this side branch? I don’t know.

The bats really REALLY don’t want you in there. These aren’t those cute little ones that eat all the mosquitoes, either…

Anyway, here’s a little birds nest I saw in there too…
