Appalachia Cruisers Trail Clean Up Day.

Had a great day riding and cleaning up the trails at Windrock yesterday. A big thank you to Justin Mynatt, and Evan Husky for there help. We had a buddy's truck distributer go out on him so we had to mainly focus on getting him out of the woods. We still managed to fill up about 4 bags of trash. Already lookin forward to next month!

Even Moon the dog joined the fun!

I can believe that. When shopping for tires id like to see each potential option try that hill. I'm curious if my new KO2s would have made it? Would have been a good test.

I am now very confident in my new all terrains, but didnt try the hill due to having no armor. The mud was very thick at the bottom and very soupy at the top, so there was a high chance of having to back down in the slick stuff and I didnt feel like running the risk of crunching a bumper. The hill was on mud-terrain level that day. There was a group of heavily built crawlers that went up past us, and they were even sliding all over the place.

Clay is just the worst in terms of tire selection. Almost need boggers for that kind if stuff. Luckily there is enough rock that usually you can find something to grip. I tested my KO2s a couple weeks back after that week of rain up in royal blue and they went everywhere except 100% clay. That hill is notorious for being bad. Turns a blue trail into a black easily.

Once again we will be riding the trails of windrock and fillin up some trash bags. Will meet at the windrock parking lot again at 9:00am. Hope to see some people out there!

You do know that this weekend is the spring atv jamboree at Windrock? I wouldn't want to be within 10 miles of that place during that event.
