Anyone wanna head to Greensburg to help out?

I'm thinking about calling KDOT or KHP and see if there is anything I can haul in from Wichita (equipment, water, etc) and stay a day or two to help out.

I know our church is planning a trip as well.

I heard that they have evacuated the whole area. Could have swore I heard it on KFDI, and that to not come down there cause there is noone there, except state and city type official people. I could be wrong, but you might want to double check on that one.

Yep, they have evacuated almost everyone. SAR/recovery efforts are still ongoing at the hospital and senior citizen's center. Figured that's why I'd call first.

Gonna see if they need supplies I can haul on the gooseneck.

I know this is late notice but if you need some help, call me at 316-706-9774 and I will go up there today (Sunday-It is the only weekend day I have off so I'm free) from whenever to whenever to help you out.

I could also stay the night somewhere and help on Monday as well as long as I am home on Monday to Derby by 2:30p.m. to pick my kids up from school.

I was a cop in Pratt for a couple years and know a lot of the L.E. community there as well as I had family there that lost everything.

I figgerd I'd wait, heck I gotta wait till middle a next week ta heal afore I can do much a anythin. Then I was thinkin bout the wheat fields is gonna need debri pickd outa em afore they can harvest. That was what I was givin thought to doin. Some time after we return frum Moab on June 1st.
