My cruiser is in pieces amidst a complete cooling system overhaul but if it running by the 26th I will try to make it.

Let me know if you need a hand! I can come and help you get it back together...

I am hoping for some time next weekend. I have to work today and tomorrow is mother's day so this weekend is out. And then there is Phulrum's regear to work in there... Cruisers, when you need a vehicle that needs you just as badly.

Ha! So true.

I'll be working on one truck or another for the next few Saturdays if anyone wants to come by... FJ60 side cover gasket is the current issue, then rear brakes on the 100 with new rotors, then I still have a transfer case that needs a rebuild on the 44. That's all in addition to the wrench day work!

I may just do open houses on both dates any anyone that wants to come by can swing on over!

Hey dudes ,back online. I get back from NY this Wednesday, is there a wrench day the following SAT? the 19th? Need some help

diagnosing that damn spun sound.

Wife reminded me we have a wedding to attend next weekend so I am spent thought might be able to break free Sunday.

To the window fuse popping, I might try to isolate it to a part of the truck. If, for example, it only blows when opening one particular window I'd get the meter out and check resistance across that switch. Maybe the wires have chaffed within the door, etc... If it blows when any window opens then I will need to browse the schematic and see how that could be happening.

Thanks for taking the time to help. I went through the process as you prescribed and found the problem. One of those really small springs inside master switch shock loose a arched on the little rocker underneath the button. Crazy! I fixed it with a spring from a ball point pen.

I'll lb working on the truck tomorrow but will save some of the big work for next weekend. I will see how far I can get on it tomorrow though! Come on by if you want to help or just talk cruisers!

I'll post the address and contact info in the private forum. If you are not a member and want to come, just pm me and I'll let you know the details!

Rear brakes done, new tires installed, bolts PB Blastered, and ready to roll.

Wrenching party part 2 will be @leucadiacruiser s place. Check the private forum for details.

Starting at 8 and will be doing suspension, upper control arms, diff drop, and CV reboots if there is time.

I’m locked down due to Valley Center Western Days. The road is closed for the parade.
