Anyone up for a wrenching party? I could use some help and will reciprocate!

Which day works best for everyone?

Hey guys!

I know my Tuesday conflicts have made me essentially a ghost when it comes to club meetings but I thought I would still reach out to my brothers in spirit.

I have to do some work on the 100 and could use some help from some knowledgeable people. Essentially I have a pretty warped rotor on the front so I wanted to swap in upgraded rotors and pads. Also, I have a bad CV boot so I thought I would tackle that at the same time, which also let me to think that this is the perfect time to also lift the 100. of course the correct way to lift the 100 is with new upper arms and a diff drop.

You can see where this is going... :-)

So I was wondering if anyone was interested in getting together to help, or just comment from the cheap seats, and eat pizza and drink beer, while I attempted to do all of this at the same time...

Let me know interest and we can set up a time... I will reimburse any and all helpers with pizza, beer, other goodies as needed, and promises to also come and help you on your projects!

I hope all of you are doing well!

I haven't even ordered parts but will on Monday! I was thinking about getting started on a Friday and working through the weekend one weekend. I'm guessing around two weeks from now is safe with some of the shipping?

I have a driveway... still waiting to get the garage built! fairly flat and wide enough to set up...

Thanks man!

If I'm not scheduled to work... I'll be there to help out.

I’m booked for the next two weekend but can lend a hand after that.

If I'm around I'm good at drinking beer and handing out tools. I also have a hundy as well.

Just keep me informed and I could lend a hand. I am slimming down for summer so no beer and pizza for me! Just nuts and berries.

I read that as twigs and berries ;) I'm doing the same. I'll skip the pizza but just workout for more beer lol

Kraig, is your house the one that can be seen from the 5 freeway under construction in the Encinitas luecadia area?
Also, I may be able to host a wrench day in two weeks. I'lIcheck with the war dept. (If your place works better for you, maybe ill just come help)

Parts are ordered or are about to be ordered! I assume two to three weeks and it will be ready to go!

I might need to rebuild a split case next weekend to make sure I have alternate wheels, but I think we might be looking at around three weeks from now? I have one flat spot at the top of the driveway and one at the bottom so there will be some space to work for another rig (or two depending on the size of the job).

The house you saw (white with gray metal roof) is my neighbor's house, but good memory on the location! We will be building the lot directly south of that house. We just submitted final plans today (after many moons of the coastal-development-two-step with the city). Fingers crossed for a shop by next wrenching season!

I am up for suggestions on beverages and sustenance for the helpers (and hecklers). We have a ton of avocados so expect fresh Guac and chips. @BeachnCruiser and others on restricted diets, let me know what twigs and berries (you guys are the nuts!) you need and I will be sure to have some options for you!

Thanks all for the offers of help! Hopefully this can become a club get together as well as actually getting some work done!

Am interested!

You have a date? I just discovered my driver's side hub seals are non existant at this point. Need to fix it asap. Does anyone have a spot that I can get after it. Not allowed at my residence.

I am hosting a wrench day next saturday 28th. posted in private section.
