Found this in town today.Guy says he will give it to me.I dont think its military.Maybe a "tent trailer".Think it will make a gear hauler.Floor is solid.

Sure does look like a SPEN ww2 trailer.
I take that back. It does not look like it. The top of the sides do not flair out.

those triangle pieces on the sides turn outwards like maybe to hold up some type of platform.nice 60 by the way
Don't look familiar, but it looks in pretty bad shape. If you have to start replacing bearings and fix other stuff, free might not be such a good deal. Good luck.
Looks like an old Pickup box. Alot of the old pickup beds found there way onto trailers for their second lives. what does the tailgate look like?
Looks like the bed off of a dodge power wagon, old quality steel. I'd take it if it were free, how much could bearings be?
I have what looks to be the same trailer. Does it have 8 leaf springs and a 7' bed? Mine was an actual built trailer from the 50's that I bought from a local school auction befor it was demo'd. After extending the tongue, rebuilding the tailgate, changing the axle to 6 lug, adding square fenders and paint, it turned out pretty good. It looks a lot like a M416 imop.
