I want to ship a 40 in from there and need some help I have been looking for a broker but it's tough to sort it alll out. Any help would be great.

I've used him for a long time. Great prices. Never a problem. Tell him John from Duxbury Classics sent you. He's based in Boston and I use him exclusively and I've never found better prices or service. Just shipped a troopy yesterday with him.

How do you handle money. I really don't want to get burned here. I am keeping everything in PM's so i have a paper trail. I just don't want to get it here and find out the pics were from five years ago.

I never ship a truck till I'm paid in full. Ask the seller for pictures that you haven't seen yet. That'll mean he'll be taking new ones and won't be able to hide anything. It's all a leap of faith and you never get exactly what you think you're getting. Some are honest and some are A-holes.

Not to be nosey, but are you talking big money, or a couple grand?

If you have any reservations, have someone check it out. If you can't arrange someone through here, pay someone, there's services.

In my case, After talking to the seller numerous times on the phone, double checking, triple checking, getting more pictures, I was comfortable paying him in full and having him send the title. If the seller isn't patient and doesn't want to answer every little question, or have someone come to look at it, or is in a big hurry, walk away.

Thanks for the info. But I walked away. Ended up with one from Mass. I wish I could have gotten the one in UT but the shipping companys were killing me cause of the bigger tires and lift.

I'll get pics this week and yes it's the 1980. And I am in North Haven. I did get a whole load of parts trying to sort them out some are from different years.

Thanks for the offer I'm always up for someone to sit and drink beer while I get frustrated working on things No really if you want to lend a hand or just hang out it's cool. I'll hit you up if i need parts. I do need a 3 speed T case.
