I don't know if i was lucky or not but i was only at 2 posts during my entire 20 plus years.

Being a useless ROTC Lt. I used to go visit all my buddies I graduated with that had gone on to some of these hell holes, so that was my vantage point. I only had to go to Sill and Knox for my weekend warrior status. Never had to live on base, never went overseas so I was lucky I guess...
