Team ONSC,

Anyone going to Uwharrie this Saturday? A similar trip to July 11th. Easy stuff. ;<)

As of now, I'm camping out there.

@izzyandsue what are you teaching? Is it full? U got AARP discounts? Are Toyota's allowed? Lockers are not working right now. Is this for Noob's like me? ;<)

@forrest5000 What's your plan for Saturday? I have been going to URE since 1985 and I am basically trying to learn it better. I always get turned around. Wolf den through the easy stuff to the easy way up Daniel (front or back - there is a big debate). I think it's front as we came up from dutch john parking area and it was easy.

Jeep group rented it for the weekend. Southern Xpeditions.

What is AARP? We have discounts for AARP. But I don’t know who they are, are they Bob‘friends? I am in AARP For 6 years. Who is AARP, sounds familiar. Get off my lawn!

@izzyandsue just qualified.🤣
Sounds fun.

Suppose to do their 36 hour Light race in November. ;<)

@forrest5000 Who you camping with? Will you be there Saturday night too? I may camp Saturday night.

I'll be wheeling Saturday. Plan on arriving at the Outpost at 10am

I was thinking about going out for a few hours but I want to go try out the trails in my kids go kart. It is two wheel drive only so it should be interesting to find out how capable it is out there on the trails. The question is if I bring a strap will one of you yank me out if i get it stuck? I don't plan to do anything super hard and will bypass areas I know will might be an issue. Also, it is light enough that I can man handle it rather easily.

I plan on keeping it easy. I'm happy to give you a yank ;)

Well i will let you know then. I am still not 100% sure I am going but I have been wanting to go out there and test it out. Having a group to go out with would be nice also. just in case.

See you all there at 10 am. Easy stuff for me. ;<) Like the 11th.

@raanderson77 What year is your 60? And I plan to go rain or shine. ;<) Leaving Raleigh around 7:30 am. Getting there early to get my deflators dialed in to 20 PSI and super glued.

It's a '89 62...

I just heard from my mechanic and apparently I bent the front driver spring pretty badly. He's advising I not do any wheeling until I replace it. Trying to figure out what I want to do.

The trails where fixed last time i was there. Dutch jones was nothing like before

@raanderson77 HF55 conversion? How did you bend a spring?

It has a H55 that was supposedly installed at the dealer when new.

No idea how I bent that spring. I wasn’t aware of it until my mechanic told me.
