Anyone into old VW's or know someone who is? I found some brand new wheel bearings that I bought for a VW Thing quite a few years ago... They are Koyo brand and still sealed in plastic in the boxes. I can list p/n's if anyone is interested. Make me an offer.

used to be into them, nothing does ebrake slides quite like a bug....:grinpimp:

don't see many things around these days, I can't even remember the last time I saw one....

Well, I was kinda force into it... my ex's dad had one that hadn't run in years... a new fuel tank, carb rebuild, brakes, etc and I got it going. A ton of learning and I didn't have internet at the time. I bought the wheel bearings and then didn't change them. It was about 6 years ago. It was a cool car for the summer.

post them up on the victoria veedub club site.

there are a few around town (last one i saw used to live across the street when i lived off oldfield road).

someone wants them.

cheers

Thanks for that link Crusty, the buy and sell was gonna be my next step. If my memory is correct the rear end was same as a van and the front the same as a beetle but I can't remember which end the bearings are for. I need to do some googling later.

If you can't find a buyer, Beetle Autohaus in Vic will buy them from you.

Welcome
