Anyone have an 80 Series with 5.29 or 4.88 gears? (1 Viewer)

About to pull my 3rds and have some gearing installed. Can't decide on 4.88 vs 5.29 and wondering if anyone has a rig setup with lower gearing that we can take a quick spin in just to feel the difference from my stock gearing...I can bring along some good beers. TIA

I currently have cruisers with both 4.88 and 5.29's. I run 4.56's on 35", 4.88 on 37", and 5.29's on 40" and up (5.29/45" on my '97)

What year is your 4.88 on 37s? How does it do on mountain passes?
