I work in Monument and left to come home at about 10am.

I don't know if I've ever been that scared in my life. Most of the way back I couldn't see past my hood.

Don't yet know If I'm working tomorrow or yet. Hopefully not ;)

We've received between 8 and 12 inches so far up here... I'll be out blowing the driveway this afternoon...

If anyone makes it up here, you're welcome to stop by to warm up. Give me a call at 719-481-8818 if you're in the neighborhood (Roller Coaster between NorthGate and Baptist).

Well, I'm at work. (And just about the only one here.)

The roads aren't nearly as bad this time as they were last week. Just a coating with 1/2 to 1 inch of ice was all that I found on my wandering way to work (from Widefield to just north of Chapel Hill Mall).

I did have a bunch of fun playing in empty parking lots and some snow drifts on the road. This morning I only saw one person "stuck".

well.. Jake (my roomate w/the White minitruck) Flipped his truck today.. He was heading to recover somone that was stuck. a car was at a dead stop stuck on ice in the middle of the road in front of him, he tried to avoid it and started spinning 360's.. He hit a Curb with the rear tire and the truck went over and onto its roof.. Popped the bead off the tire.. Cab is in bad shape, doors suprisingly ok, Bed got trashed when the tow driver truned it back over.. ARB Bumper Saved any damage to the hood/grill and radiator..

Photos to come..

Bummer! Was he OK?

I drove my mini today, still have chains on the front from last week. Haven't been stuck, but still slipping on the ICE! mostly when trying to turn.
