I just started a rehab on a 40 that I got in Dec.

The tranny, Diffs, and oil pan were full of water. I pulled the head to take a look at the bores. Yuck :frown: (pic below) I think it may have been flooded in Sandy. Clearly I need to pull this guy out and rebuild or replace. I have a stand but unfortunately I don't have a cherry picker.

Found a hoist

Also, does anyone know a good machinist around here? I used to go to Marten motors in Morrisville, PA, but I just found out they closed shop for good. Total bummer because they did great work at a reasonable price.

Feel free to PM me or just respond here.

Thanks
