Doesn anyone know if there are any dealers on the west coast that still has a trd fj on the lot? My local dealer only goes 200 miles away in radius search.

I know it dosent help but i do know that here in NY there are at least 2...about 2 weeks ago there were 4 TRD's at different dealor's in the area.

tbh if you're looking at buying a truck for $30k i think its worth the extra couple hundred to fly and pick it up or get it shipped to you. if you cant find one near you contact a midwest dealer or an east coast one, explain to them your situation and i'm sure they'd be more than happy to sell you a TRD.

From What My Dealer Told Me Just A Few Minutes Ago There Are Not Any Left Anywhere... Dont Really Want To Go To New York But Montana Or Colorado Would Be Just Fine.

dealers can only locate within their region, and in my area the dealer wouldnt locate anything. they said that nobody will swap these suckers.they're too new. they can sell whatever they've got anyweay... they dont need to swap em... so if you do find one, you'll have to go personally to get it.

I bet they followed that comment with "but we have a nice non-TRD FJ over here you might like..."

I am totaly into going somewhere to go get it just not new york. would be a nice road trip back from somewhere out here on the west coast. dont really want to buy a black one and make a clone either

There is one on the lot at the Toyota dealer in Asheville, NC. There is also a 4-wheeling event next weekend. You can fly out , pick it up, wheel and drive home!

still a little to far me. would like something closer. anyone?

One of our local dealers also has a TRD on the lot, and has for awhile. Perhaps you should inquire about a dealer trade and pay the $250 upcharge to get one of these on the east coast. Black is beautiful on the FJ, and many cars, but after owning two black vehicles (one as an SUV), I will never choose it again - scratches, swirls, and bumps showup badly; and heat is a major issue...especially with the black interior AND roof to boot. This is not an attempt to disuade you...just mentioning some major points that eliminating the 'all black' option for me. Good luck! ;)

all black is just fine its for my father that is just going to drive it on the freeway 140 miles a day. his rigs look and run like new with 150k on them

good luck with that... dealers are notorious for not trading their FJ's esp not the TRD's and they wont locate out of region anyway. even if you givem the # to the dealer they wond to it... tahts toyota policy.
