I would like to throw this thread back on top. Who else is in?

Karl, talked with Charlie today and he is in. So I could for sure bring my mini and charlies 4runner on my trailer. We should seek accomodations at a common place. Will talk to Onur tonight and see his interest.

I got out of my comitment for the Ftoys and will not be going at all.

Looks like a blast though..take pics.

I might be up for this but my work schedule is a bear right now.

If I go, I'll be a passenger/spotter only.

-o-

Looks like 9 hours from me, Doubt the bus will be ready for a trip that far by then. Well i need to buy the bus first.

Jim,

Is there a back way to get there, like down 23, etc.????

just trying to save time.

So are people interested in primitive camping??

I would prefer a hotel or cabin. I am going to contact some of the locals to see what is the bestplaces to stay.

Mapquest tells me I should go over to I-77 south into WV, then cut back into KY. But if the map program is forced to plot a course down 23, its a shorter distance, but 5 minutes longer drive time.

Since I'm driving a Cruiser, I'll go with the shorter distance, down RT23.

Not *interested* in primitive camping, but I don't see too many options.
So, I'll be sleeping on the dirt, as usual.

so....you think it would be prudent to truck/trailer these back roads in the hollars (sp?).?????

:frown:

I dont think I can afford this run.
If anyone is going to Willsville towards the end of march or at least 70 DEG.
Id like to tag along

We will be going to wellsville often. I will post up in advance.

I booked luxury accomodations today. Talked to a bunch of locals. This run is going to be big time. They have 7000 acres open for fun!

Guessing that's a bit of sarcasm?
Either way, can you post up contact info so others (like me) can call about reservations.

Wowza!!

Yeah Jim, luxury in off roading can be sarcastic at times. the way I see it a room, bed shower and plumbing are definetely luxuries that make trips more comfortable. Heres the links for your enjoyment.

The "cabin" I booked was "Getdirtdonerentals" on the first link. The owners name is Wayne. he seems to be a good man. I think he has two openings yet. His place is the closest rental to verda field where the event will be headquartered (link http://www.kyoutdoors.com/img/verda/verda.htm)

One fact about Evarts Kentucky where we will be staying as quoted from the town home page.

Home of "Guinness Book of World Records Longest ATV Parade"

I think this town kicks ass already and I have yet to visit.

Regards

Kirk
