Need some advice.

No plumber though I've been playing one the past couple days. 
Had to repair a water fountain that was knocked off the wall. New drain pipe, new copper inlet, and had to solder the copper tubing in the coil running around the tank. 
Then had to replace an element in a water heater and the next day had to replace the pressure/temperature relief valve because it was faulty. At least I got to play with a torch.

I just paid a small fortune to have a pipe snaked. I had no idea they put the snake in through the tube sticking out of your roof. You learn something new every day.
That would be the vent stack that lets the sewer gass out and prevents a vacume when your toilets flush and sinks drain. I have to do the same thing as the damn squirls have cloged them up. Works to stick a garden hose down there as well.... But we all knew that.
