saw this and it looks like a hell of a deal. says they wont sell to private parties unless you fill out proper fourms if some one goes that route let me know i may be intrested in one of the other ones at that price

From what I have read I would have to have me department buy them and then buy them from the department and that may still not be legal. I've sent a couple emails trying to figure out if there is any way around it. I'll keep ya posted......

[Living in the Past]

The military auctioned these off in years past but alot of them were turned over to state's national guards. Oregon sold some on eBay a few years ago, but in AZ and NM you have to be another goverment agency or non-profit organization to buy them. In NM a non-profit org has to keep them for five years before reselling. I bought mine off eBay after the five years. Nice part about it was it came with a NM title. It might be KS is the same way, if so the non-profit might be the easiest route. Just working for the goverment doesn't help.
